Learn about rakeback

Poker sites generates revenue by taking a small percentage out of each pot.
The amount taken out is determined by the size of the pot, the stakes and the game type (FL, PL & NL).
We have worked out a special deal with PKR that allows us to offer you part of the rake you contribute back to you.
When you sign up for a PKR rakeback deal through Poker Rakeback Online you will receive 30% rakeback.
This is the highest percentage of rakeback you can receive from PKR.
Your PKR rakeback payments will be handled directly by PKR.
You will receive your rakeback payment on or before the 10th of the month for the previous month.
For instance if you earned $200 in rakeback for January PKR will automatically credit you player account with $200 no later than the 10th of Febuary.

Most players that are new to receiving Poker Rakeback Online and have trouble figuring out how much money a 30% rakebackoffer will actually add up to.
Below I have calculated the amount of rakeback that will be earned for two different types of players.
Use this as a rough guide when considering how much rakeback you will receive.
These numbers are general averages though because there are a few different variables when determining rakeback such as your average hands played per hour.

$1/2 NL Texas Holdem Full Ring Table – If you play for an average of 60 hours per month at these stakes and at just 1 table at a time your estimated rakeback payment will be $126.
If you typically play at short handed tables (6 or less players) the amount of rakeback earned will increase to $432.
This increase can be explained by the higher average hands/hour you will play at a short handed table.

$1/2 FL Texas Holdem Full Ring Table – If you play for an average of 60 hours per month at these stakes and at just 1 table at a time your estimated Poker Rakeback Online payment will be $54.
If you typically play at short handed tables (6 or less players) the amount of rakeback earned will increase to $180.
The numbers are considerably less than what a no limit player will receive while playing at the same stakes.
It is important to mention though that $1/2 NL Texas Holdem is comparable to $5/10 FL Holdem when looking at the average pot size.

If you play at multiple tables simultaneously you can double the numbers listed above. Although PKR takes less rake out of short handed tables the increase in hands/hour will usually double if not triple the amount of rakeback you will receive compared to a full ring table.
When you play in regular tournaments and sit and go tournaments at PKR you will also receive a part of the buyin fee for each in your Poker Rakeback Online payment.

The September Rake Races were an absolute success, so SunPoker.com
is putting up $10,000 for the month of October in two more great $5k
races: The first rake race runs from the 1st of the month until 11:59PM
GMT of the 2nd Sunday of the month. The second rake race runs from
the 2nd Sunday at 00:01AM GMT till the end of the month at 11:59PM

Although the buzz word in today’s world has been recession, it hasn’t seemed to affect the poker community for the WSOP.  
A total amount of prize money given away this year is over $111,626,000 USD, and most players have qualified playing online poker games. 
With events still finishing this week and the Main Event starting on the 3rd it looks like this year’s final prize pool could reach higher than last years prize pool of $190,000,000+

With thousands of players playing the many events of this year’s WSOP moving up ranks is not an easy thing to do. 
The ranked players of Bluff Magazine’s Poker Power Rankings are derived from the Player of the Year formula.
Players receive full rank points for all tournaments that have occurred during the past year and half-points for the year before.

The 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP), the biggest marquee event of the year is officially in full swing at Las Vegas’ Rio Hotel and Casino. 
Thousands of players from all over the world have descended into ‘Sin City’ with the hope of becoming poker’s next household icon and looking to earn one of the coveted bracelets that are awarded to each winner of the event.
